Seriously Dreamworks….pick a different face next time for fucks sake.
Dont you get too smug either Pixar, you’re guilty of this one as well.
Granted the face gets old.
But it is known as the CalArts face from the institute with said name. That was basically THE animation and arts college back in the day and many famous animators are graduates of the college. This was due to the fact the professors were famous classic animators such as the 9 old.The face HAS a reason, and even if other people don’t see it, it’s meant to be a comforting shout-out to all the students there, a signature of the school. Same as A-113 number commonly seen in Pixar movies, it was a classroom there.

oh dear god i nearly forgot to show this off
a li’l animation i made in graphic design. it’s not so great ‘cause 1) it’s a first effort, and 2) halfway through i started really not caring about typography… it just started getting really boring.
